Eternal Thanksgiving for Dominion Restored

“¹³ And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven. ¹⁴ The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly. ¹⁵ And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. ¹⁶ And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, ¹⁷ Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. ¹⁸ And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. ¹⁹ And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail” (Revelation 11:13-19).

The original plan of God was that mankind was to have dominion over the earth.

“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth” (Genesis 1:26).

When Adam willfully sinned, he lost that dominion to Satan. Adam chose to sin because he loved Eve more then he loved God.

“And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression” (I Timothy 2:14).

Once Adam sinned, Satan became the “god of this world.”

“In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them” (II Corinthians 4:4).

“Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience” (Ephesians 2:2).

Prophecy spoke of a time when Messiah would restore the dominion of the earth to mankind by His incarnation. The Son of God would become the Son of man in order to do so.

“And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel” (Genesis 3:15).

“He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it” (Isaiah 25:8).

“⁵⁴ So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. ⁵⁵ O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? ⁵⁶ The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. ⁵⁷ But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” (I Corinthians 15:54-57).

“That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth” (Philippians 2:10).

In Revelation 11:15 we finally have the transfer of that dominion back to mankind in Jesus Christ, Who then will transpose that dominion to the Church in the Kingdom Age.

“²⁶ And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: ²⁷ And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father” (Revelation 2:26-27).

Once the seventh Trumpet is sounded, Revelation 11:15 relates the rapidity that the seven bowl judgments will take place in that this is viewed almost synchronously with the second coming of Christ at Armageddon. The second coming will take place immediately after the seven Vial (Bowl) judgments.

“¹¹ And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. ¹² His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. ¹³ And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. ¹⁴ And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. ¹⁵ And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. ¹⁶ And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS” (Revelation 19:11-16).

The fact that this will finally take place was the statement of faith of the saints throughout the ages to the praise of His glory.

“To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen” (Jude 1:25).

When this historical moment finally rises upon the horizon of time, the 24 elders (representing the saints of all ages) fall down in praise, worship, adoration, and thanksgiving before the throne of God and before God.

“¹⁶ And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, ¹⁷ Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned {lit., hast begun to reign}” (Revelation 11:16-17).

At Revelation 11:13 we are chronologically very near the end of the Tribulation period. It is less then one hour after the ascension of the two witnesses as the whole world watched as they are raised from the dead. Within that hour, a great earthquake will destroy one tenth of the city of Jerusalem and kill 7,000 people. Great fear will come on those remaining alive (the “remnant”) and they will recognize this is all from the hand of God (“give glory“).

One of the reasons these people will recognize a greater power than the “beast” is revealed to us by a little word in verse 12. The words “a cloud” should be “the cloud.” This refers to the Shekinah glory cloud that will descend out of heaven and take the two witnesses up. This is similar to what happened to the Lord Jesus Christ.

“⁸ But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. ⁹ And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight” (Acts 1:8-9).

The “remnant” of those in Jerusalem will recognize this to be the glory of God. Some of this remnant may repent and be saved. Others will recognize the source of all these things as supernatural, but continue without repentance. This will end the sixth Trumpet judgment (second woe) of the seven Seal judgments. The third “woe” will be the seven Vial judgments from the seventh Trumpet judgment.

In Revelation 11:15-19 it is evident from the way this is written that there is very little time left before the return of Christ (the second advent). There are four major historical paradigms in the history of the world.

1. The creation and fall of man

2. The incarnation, death, burial, and resurrection of the Son of God

3. The second coming of Jesus Christ to establish His Kingdom and dominion over His creation

4. The final consummation and creation of a new Heaven/Earth where God will dwell with His redeemed forever.

In Revelation 11:15-19 the excitement centers on the fact that the world stands on the threshold of the third great event in history. The seventh angel sounding refers to the seventh Trumpet judgment which results in the seven Vial judgments at the very end of the Tribulation just prior to the second coming of Christ. In these five verses, it is as if John’s vision jumps rapidly back and forth from earth to heaven and from heaven to earth in anticipation. It is that close!

Yet we will not see what happens in these seven Vial judgments (the seventh Trumpet) until chapters 15 and 16. However, it is just moments (perhaps weeks, days or hours) away. As soon as the seventh Trumpet sounds “great voices” make proclamation. “Great” refers to volume. All of heaven will hear this proclamation. Heaven breaks loose in celebration, praise and worship.

“The kingdoms of this world {KOSMOS; Satan’s stolen dominion} are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ {Messiah}; and he {the Messiah} shall reign for ever and ever” (Revelation 11:15).

When Jesus taught His disciples how to pray, central to their prayer life was to be their desire for the Kingdom of Christ to come. Every trur Christian should not just be waiting for the Kingdom of Christ to come. We should be waiting in eager anticipation. We should be looking for the Kingdom of Christ to come with great enthusiasm and preoccupied with the possibility of its any moment occurrence.

“Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10).

At the end of the Tribulation the only thing between the second coming of Christ and the establishment of His Kingdom is these last seven Vial judgments of the seventh Trumpet. These verses record that Trumpet is now being blown. Nothing can hold it back. Nothing can stop it. The final dam holding back God’s wrath will be released in these seven Vial judgments.

This is so overwhelming that the twenty-four elders (Rev. 11:16) come out of their thrones before God and fall prostrate on their faces in worship, adoration and thanksgiving. These elders represent all the redeemed of all ages. They address God in His full Name; ADONAI ELOHIM SHADDAI (Rev. 11:17), LORD GOD ALMIGHTY.

Adonai refers to His relationship as Master (Lord) and Leader. Elohim refers to His character of strength and faithfulness. Shaddai is the Hebrew word for a women’s breast and refers to God as the Nurturer and strength giver. He is the Satisfier of man’s need. He is their source of nourishment and strength.

The redeemed give thanks, recognizing each aspect of Who God is to them. They do so “because” dominion is restored to mankind through Jesus Christ. Yes, the victory was won 2,000 years ago on the Cross of Calvary. That victory was sealed by the resurrection of Jesus Christ, but the spoils of the victory were never claimed . . . until now! At the sounding of the seventh Trumpet, only moments await the second coming of Christ to reclaim dominion over creation for all mankind (the redeemed).

The word “power” of Revelation 11:17 refers to dominion or authority. The first Adam’s lost dominion is about to be “taken” back by the “last Adam.” . “Hast reigned” is better translated hast begun to reign. It is a new beginning that will last forever.

In Revelation 11:18 the scene comes back to earth. “And the nations were angry.”

Of course they were. This reveals the continuing hatred of fallen mankind for God’s control over their lives. Satan has deceived mankind into hating God’s control over their lives. Humanism has made man to be his own god.

“¹ Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? ² The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, ³ Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. ⁴ He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. ⁵ Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. ⁶ Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. ⁷ I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. ⁸ Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. ⁹ Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel. ¹⁰ Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. ¹¹ Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. ¹² Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him” (Psalms 2:1-12).

After all these years of political subterfuge, those led by the evil one thought they had won control over this world for themselves. They thought they could establish their own standards of right and wrong without the interference of the Biblical absolutists. In this case, the game isn’t over until the last trumpet sounds. With the seventh Trumpet, the last Trump has just sounded!

The lost man (and the carnal Christian) resents God’s interference in his pursuit of pleasure and power through unbridled desires. Lost men do not want God sticking His nose in their business. When Jesus steps out of glory this time, He is coming claiming His dominion and demanding obedience. For the rebels of this world it will be like slapping a mad dog.

When we read Revelation 11:18 it relates wrath and rewards. For the remaining lost upon the earth “thy wrath is come.” As horrible and devastating as these last seven Vial judgments will be, they will seem insignificant to the horrors for the lost in the second coming of Christ.

“⁹ And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one. ¹⁰ All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin’s gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king’s winepresses. ¹¹ And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited. ¹² And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth” (Zechariah 14:9-12).

It would appear that not one lost soul would remain alive on the earth. The next time you hear someone pray the Lord’s Prayer (so called) in vain repetition, ask him if he really understand what will happen just before His Kingdom comes.

The Evil of the Philosophy of Socialism

“¹ For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh; ² That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; ³ In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. ⁴ And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words. ⁵ For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ. ⁶ As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: ⁷ Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. ⁸ Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ” (Colossians 2:1-8).

The average Joe does not spend much time reading philosophies or mediating upon the issues of Existentialism, Social Darwinism, Progressive Socialism, the Metaphysical Nature of the Mind, or the Self Actualization of the Human Psyche. In most cases, the average Joe does not have a clue or any concern regarding any of these issues regardless of the fact that they are philosophies that are reshaping the world he lives in and affecting almost every aspect of his existence in this world. The average Joe is concerned about the basics of life. He is concerned about being able to raise his children to be honest and honorable people. He is concerned about being able to put a roof over their heads and food on the table. He is concerned about providing his family with the necessities of life and a hope for the future.

The average Joe is often unaware of the subtle and gradualistic deception of human philosophies that shape the thinking of the world he lives in. Because of the lack of understanding, he is unaware of these philosophies because they do not come at him with a frontal attack upon his values. These philosophies sneak up on him gradually in infinitely small increments over a lifetime so that he is not even aware of any movement and does not see them until the “roaring lion” (I Peter 5:8) of deception has him in his jaws.

Three Views of Civilization, Its Major Sin & How God Will Deal With It

1. Christianity is the enemy of civilization. Therefore, Secular Humanism, liberal Fabian Socialism, and Marxist Communism promote this.

2. Christianity is the servant of civilization. Christianity and civilization work as a partnership. However, if it were not for civilization Christianity would fall. We find this to be proven wrong from many historical periods.

3. Civilization exists as the servant of Christianity. Civilization’s God ordained reason for existing is for the rise and spread of Christianity. Civilization exists in the plan of God to promote the cause of Christ.

Although the last is the true and Biblical view of civilization, civilization has historically continued to reject God and His standards of right and wrong. Most civilizations have historically been idolaters, who ultimately end up worshipping themselves. Just as ultimately, God will judge them for this wickedness and their refusal to promote the cause of Christ in the world.

“¹ Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. ² Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. ³ For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: ⁴ For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. ⁵ Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. ⁶ For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God’s ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. ⁷ Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour” (Romans 13:1-7).

God’s judgment of the nations is the natural outcome of religious apostasy. God’s judgment upon national Israel was due to the perversion of God’s commands to Israel by the priesthood of Israel. That reality is being repeated in modern history for the same reasons.

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee {the priesthood of Israel}, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget {in the sense of blessing and protection} thy children” (Hosea 4:6).

In 1990, Dave Breese wrote a book entitled Seven Men Who Rule the World from the Grave.[1] These seven men are Charles Darwin (1809-1882), Soren Kierkegaard (1813-1855), Karl Marx (1818-1883), Julius Wellhausen (1844-1918), Sigmund Freud (1856-1939), John Dewey (1859-1952), and John Maynard Keynes (1883-1946).

What most people do not know about these men is that almost all of them began their adult lives in pursuit of religious education in Classical Education in the liberal theological institutions of Europe. In almost every case Satan took these men, who originally were being trained to be servants of God, and redirected their lives to become the vehicles of his deception and the propagators of the philosophies of Antichristism. Each of these men were spoiled “through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.” If you want to understand where this world is going, you need to understand what these men believed. Their philosophies are ruling the world from the grave.

Undoubtedly the worldly philosophies of these men are on a collision course with the absolutes of God’s Word and, ultimately, on a collision course with the pending judgment of Almighty God. The most important aspect of all this is that those “spoiled” by these philosophies have joined themselves to this pending collision. The warning of Scripture is “how shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation” (Hebrews 2:3) The answer to this question has been already given to us. “See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven” (Hebrews 12:25).

We will not be able to give an in depth explanation of the philosophies of each of the seven men Dave Breese refers to in his book in this short study. The best I can do here is to show the foundations of heresy upon which this Antichristism developed.

Charles Darwin (1809-1882): Social Darwinism

For most of us, Charles Darwin is known simply for his development of the theory of Evolution from his book The Evolution of the Species. The full title of this book was On the Origin of the Species by Means of Natural Selection or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life. Yes, Charles Darwin was a racist, especially regarding Jews and a race of people then known as Negroes.

However, the most influential philosophy of Charles Darwin was not his theory of Evolution, but the theory of Social Darwinism that developed out of it.

“What are assumptions that make up Social Darwinism? The first assumption is the idea that the social structure is engineered and controlled by impersonal forces rather than by God. . . The second assumption of Social Darwinism is that society is moving upward from a mean past to an improving future. The evolutionist insists that life began in the primordial slime as its lowly provenance. The engine of culture worked from there, producing in our time the best world that has ever been. This ‘improvement’ will continue until perfect culture comes into being.”[2]

Under Darwinism, the world began to accept the lie that Science is the final source of all knowledge. Anything, including God, that cannot be observed empirically should not be accepted by society as true. Therefore, the source for all truth must be observation. This made Empiricism the new religion of all those that were deceived by Darwinism.

From Darwin’s theory of Natural Selection developed the idea of the progress of history. This would become the central influence of Darwin upon the numerous cultures of the world adopting this notion of Social Progression. Therefore, if you hear someone describing himself or others as socially progressive, you are listening to someone referring to the philosophy of Social Darwinism. What is the substance of this philosophy that is driving the world view of millions?

What then is this impersonal force that drives the Social Progression of Social Darwinism? This impersonal force is Secular Humanism and the evolution of Social Progress through bulldozing the rotting corpse of the very notion of God over the horizon of the past in order to obliterate the decadent thinking of eternal accountability and present culpability to a Creator. This is the ultimate goal of those who proclaim to be Social Progressives.

Karl Marx (1818-1883): Socialism

The means or methodology of Social Darwinism (Social Progression) was established through the philosophies of Hegel (Hegelianism), which came to be called the Hegelian Dialectic. The Hegelian Dialectic (commonly referred to as Dialogue) is a methodology for Social Progression that took a sociological norm and pitted it against a sociological abnormality. When these two extremes were pitted against each other, the vast majority of people would accept a position somewhere in the middle of the two extremes. The formula for this dynamic of social progression was Thesis against Antithesis equals Synthesis. This dynamic was constantly repeated over and over again in each succeeding generation, which created a constantly changing social evolution called Centrism, i.e. a constantly moving center resulting in a constantly evolving (progressive) culture. The success of this methodology in social evolution (Gradualism) can be simply measured by looking back 20 years to see where Center was then compare to where Center is today.

Karl Marx was influenced by these two philosophers that preceded him; Charles Darwin and Social Darwinism and Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel (1770-1831). Marx was an Economic Theorist. His methodology for social progression was to advance his philosophy known as Socialism through the means of Revolution (Communism) and/or Gradualism (the Hegelian Dialectic).

Philip Foner[3] said, “I am confident that when the two hundredth anniversary of the death of Karl Marx will be observed, the entire world will be socialist.” The truth of this statement may be realized in a much smaller increment of time. In fact, except for a few struggling pockets of Capitalism, the world has already succumb to Marx’s Socialism. Karl Marx’s philosophies of Socialism were centered in Social Economics as its main emphasis in ushering it a utopian kingdom (thereby birthing the Social Gospel).

Marx viewed Social Darwinism as the means of the sociological progression in the implementation of his economic theory through two vehicles:

1. Revolution to Economic Socialism (the redistribution of capital or wealth)

2. Progressive Evolution to Economic Socialism (Gradualism or Democratic Socialism)

Sociological Progressive Evolution to Economic Socialism is what the word progressive means within the realm of political liberalism (the word liberal is just another word for a Social Progressive or someone believing in Social Darwinism). It is absolutely essential to understand that within Marxism there are two parallel streams running through history: Communism, which is revolutionary Socialism through the violent overthrow of governments, and Gradual Socialism or what could be more practically referred to as Democratic Socialism. In most cases, within Europe and the United States, it is Gradual or Democratic Socialism that we are seeing evolve. This is a voluntary incorporation of socialist ideology into a society through the populist vote.

Marx viewed society (the Social Economy) in two categories:

1.The Proletariat (lower class of producers; laborers or wage earners)

2. The Bourgeoisie (upper/middle class of consumers that take capital or profit from what is produced by the labor class thereby exploiting the labor class for personal gain)

Marx’s economic theory, articulated in his book Das Capital, was primarily intent on equalizing the distribution of Capital (Product or wealth) between all classes and thereby eliminating those classes (or equalizing them). This redistribution of Capital and the elimination of social classes established by the accumulation of wealth (Capitalism) is the primary essence of Socialism. Uniquely, Marx capitalized on the natural competition and social tension between social classes to accomplish his purposes through class warfare. Class warfare has always been a major aspect of Socialism and the socialistic progression (now manipulation through this means).

This all led to Totalitarianism (the removal of the right to descent). Marx was the editor of a radical German newspaper called the Rheinische Zeitung. The German government, because of the radical philosophies proposed by Marx, would suppress it. When that happened, Marx moved to Paris where he became enthralled with the philosophy behind the bloody French Revolution articulated by the writings of Jacques Rousseau (1712-1778). Rousseau proposed it was the advance of civilization that was corrupting society (the third view of civilization; Civilization exists as the servant of Christianity). This would become Marx’s Bourgeoisie.

Central to Marx’s philosophy was his doctrine of “scientific socialism.” He believed that it was immoral to own property. It was proposed that all property (Capital or wealth) should be equally shared by everyone. The bourgeoisie was the enemy (the wealthy that owned the majority of Capital). The Proletariat was the working class upon whose backs the bourgeoisie rose to power. In order to correct this injustice, the working class would have to rise up in revolution against their oppressors and take control of what should equally belong to them.

Another central aspect of Marx’s philosophy of the redistribution of Capital (Socialism) was making Capital the God to be pursued at the expense of the eradication of any idea of God from society (Atheism) and the new god to which civilization was intent to serve. This made Capital the new God of Socialism and the evangelism of Socialism was to spread the gospel of redistribution. This new God of Marx’s Socialism was Materialism. The philosophy of Materialism simply stated that there is no existence apart from the physical (material) existence of what can be seen, touched, or known by empirical evidences (scientific evidences).

Marx then proposed a new theoretical off-shoot of the Hegelian Dialectic known as Dialectic Materialism. Basically, this theory proposed that a wave motion exists within the fabric of time and history where each new wave (generation) progressively overwhelms the status quo. Hegel’s Dialectic formula was Thesis (norm) against Antithesis (abnorm) results in Synthesis (new norm).

The formula for Marx’s Dialectic Materialism was simply Status Quo (Capitalism as the cultural norm) against gradual Socialism (redistribution of Capital as the abnorm) that would eventually and ultimately result in a Synthesis (a new norm) of material equality of classes. This theory has proven itself true in Democratic societies where voters sell their souls to Socialism for thirty pieces of silver by selfishly voting for candidates who promise to prosper them with redistribution of Capital. Marx’s theory of Dialectic Materialism is therefore based upon the natural propensity of sinners to make choices based upon selfishness. This has historically been the doctrine behind Satan’s evaluation of fallen mankind. In the majority of cases, Marx’s theory of Dialectic Materialism is based upon an accurate evaluation of sinful mankind.

“⁶ Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them. ⁷ And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. ⁸ And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? ⁹ Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought? ¹⁰ Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land. ¹¹ But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face” (Job 1:6-11).

Marx’s revolution view for social progression is known as Communism. His evolution view of social progression is known as Socialism. Those holding to either of these two views are simply known as Political Progressives. The Revolution View proposed the radical and violent overthrow of the structure of a society in order to force the institution of this economic theory through a totalitarian governance of that society. His Evolution View (Marxist Reconstructionism) proposed the gradual institution of this economic theory through the Democratic process (this is what is going on in Political Liberalism). Regardless of which methodology adopted, societies moving towards Socialism always find themselves under Hegel’s Totalitarianism and Statism. Marx laid out the goals for this social evolution and implementation of his economic theory in the Communist Manifesto I[4].

1. Abolition of property and land and application of all rents of land to public purposes

2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax

3. Abolition of all right of inheritance

4. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels

5. Centralization of credit in the hands of the state by means of a national bank with state capital and an exclusive monopoly

6. Centralization of the means of communication and the means of transport in the hands of the state

7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the state; bringing into cultivation of waste lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with the common plan

8. Equal liability of all labor. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture

9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country, by a more equitable distribution of population over the country

10. Free education for all children in public schools, the abolition of children’s factory labor in its present form and the combination of education with industrial production, etc.

It requires little effort on our part to see the advances this philosophy has made upon the societies of Europe and North America. However the advancement of this social progression (cultural manipulation) has not been accomplished by revolution. The Marxists discovered that the societies in which revolution took place were usually destroyed by the revolution. There was little of value left to redistribute after the revolution.

From this revelation, Marxist Revisionism (Reconstructionism) of the late 1800’s began to develop. In the 1890’s Sidney and Beatrice Webb founded the Fabian Socialist Society in England. This philosophical movement came to be known as Federalism in Europe and New Dealism in the United States of America. Notice the key terms in their agenda:

“They avowed a NON-REVOLUTIONARY, GRADUALIST policy to attain a highly organized DEMOCRATIC state socialism by way of SCHOLARLY demonstration, brilliant PROPAGANDA, and PERMEATION of established political and influential organization.”

In Religious/Political Liberalism, Secular Humanism (Non-theism) has married Marxist Reconstructionism (the evolution of Marx’s socialist economic theory through the Hegelian Dialectic). Religious Liberalism (another expression of Socialism) invented the Social Gospel as its means to achieve Marx’s evolutionary view for progressive Socialism (Reconstructionism and Redistribution). This became a major part of what Religious Liberalism and Secular Humanism have come to refer to as Social Planning. This is progressively (gradually) moving societies toward Marx’s redistribution economic philosophy of Socialism.

Hegel’s philosophies (liberal theology) were the foundation for two modern ideologies that began to be realized in the rapid sociological advancement of Communism and Socialism within various world governments:

1. Statism: the theory, or its practice, that economic and political power should be controlled by a central government leaving regional government and the individual with relatively little say in political matters (this is what Federalism meant as it was used in Europe, the exact opposite of what Federalism is in the United or Federation of States)

2. Totalitarianism: relating to or operating a centralized government system in which a single party without opposition rules over political, economic, social, and cultural life

Communism has historically always evolved into Totalitarianism. Democracies have historically always evolved into Statism (single Party Despotism). That is why the United States was established as a Constitutional Republic (not a Constitutional Democracy). Benjamin Franklin said, “Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote!” The word Democracy is not used once in the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution of the U.S.A. Most of the founding fathers of the United States of America held similar views of Democracy as did Benjamin Franklin.

“We are a Republican Government. Real liberty is never found in despotism or in the extremes of Democracy... It has been observed that a pure democracy if it were practicable would be the most perfect government. Experience has proved that no position is more false than this. The ancient democracies in which the people themselves deliberated never possessed one good feature of government. Their very character was tyranny; their figure deformity.” (Alexander Hamilton, Secretary of the Treasury to George Washington, author of the Federalist Papers)

“Democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide.” (John Adams, 2nd President of the United States)

“A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine.” (Thomas Jefferson, 3rd President of the United States, author of the Bill of Rights)

“Democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property; and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their death.” (James Madison, 4th President of the United States, Father of the Constitution)

“The experience of all former ages had shown that of all human governments, democracy was the most unstable, fluctuating and short-lived.” (John Quincy Adams, 6th President of the United States)

“Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.” (John Marshall, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, 1801-1835)

Historically, the word Democracy has always been nothing more than a different word for Communism. “A democracy is a state in which the poor, gaining the upper hand, kill some and banish others, and then divide the offices among the remaining citizens equally.” (Plato about 370 B.C.)

The evil of selfishness inherent in pure democratic government was addressed extensively by James Madison in his Federalist Papers the 10^th Edition (http://www.foundingfathers.info/federalistpapers/fed10.htm). In fact, it was clearly the intent of the Second Amendment to protect the Republic of the United States of America from Democracy by insuring citizens of their right to bear arms.

“No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.” (Thomas Jefferson, Proposed Virginia Constitution, 1776, Jefferson Papers 344)
